Shadow Theater
The tales of Beedle the bard is a popular tales compilation for young wizards. They are short stories embedded in the world of Harry Potter saga, by J.K. Rowling.Kids from 5th grade built a simple, beautiful and fun theatrical play, based on the tales of the three brothers, that makes us think about the realation between humility and wisdom.
The presentation followed traditional chinese shadow puppetry techniques and the whole text was elaborated in English. Elementary I classmates enjoyed, applauded and talked about it with enthusiasm.
This work is the result of a multidisciplinary study with English, Arts and Portuguese.
